Day 2: Jammu / Srinagar
In the morning, our representative will transfer you to the Jammu bus station. From here it is a 7 / 8 hour drive to Srinagar, where you will be met by our representative and transferred to a deluxe houseboat. Overnight stay in the houseboat in Srinagar.
Day 3: Srinagar Local sightseeing
Half-a-day tour of world famous Mughal Gardens visiting the Nishat Bagh (The garden of pleasure) and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love). Return to the houseboat for hot lunch. In the afternoon Shikara ride on The Dal Lake to enjoy the beauty that God has graced this city with which it is often compared to Venice. You will get a view of some very interesting places around the lake. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 4: Srinagar / Gulmarg / Srinagar
A full day tour of Gulmarg which is one of the most beautiful summer resorts in the valley. It is also popular for its golf course (in summer), the highest in the world and skiing during the winter season. Enjoy the splendor of nature and the snowy mountains. One can have Gondola ride (cable car) from Gulmarg to Khalinmarg. In the evening return to the houseboat. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 5: Srinagar / Sonmarg / Srinagar
Full day excursion to Sonmarg which is the most beautiful drive from Srinagar. On the way you will see many beautiful spots. Continue drive to Sonmarg 2690 Mtrs (Meadow of Gold). One can ride on horse to visit Thajiwas Glacier where the snow remains round the year and Sonmarg is known as Gateway of Ladakh. In the evening return to the houseboat. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 6: Srinagar / Pahalgam / Srinagar
Full day excursion to Pahalgam 2440 mtrs (vale of Kashmir) on the way visit Saffron fields, Avantipur ruins and Anantnag sulpher spring. Pahalgam is the most famous place for Indian Film Industry. Enjoy the nature charm of the valley. In the evening return to the houseboat. Overnight at the houseboat.
Day 7: Srinagar / Katra
Leave early in the morning 6 / 7 hrs drive to Katra and check-in to the hotel. After refreshing leave for Vaishno Devi temple for Darshan. Return to the hotel during the mid-night and overnight at the hotel.
Day 8: Katra / Jammu
Morning is free for personal activities. Drive to Jammu railway station to connect onward destination train.
